“De Drie Transformatoren” is established in 1939 when three friends decided to begin a transformer manufacturing plant under the suitable name, “De Drie Transformatoren”. In the following years they developed clients in sectors such as Industry, Railways and Defence and earned a name as a supplier of quality transformers and battery chargers. |

“De Drie Transformatoren” led into the next phase in the history of the company. In the 1970’s there was an enormous advance in electronics and microcomputers. The company recognized the importance of these developments for there future. Through a merger with the specialized software and microcomputer-control company, “Applied Electronics” arose “De Drie Electronics”. |

“De Drie Electronics” appeared as first on the market with microprocessor controlled battery chargers. With the combination of extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of mechanics, transformers, power electronics, microprocessor control and specialized control software, products such as transformers, battery chargers and power supplies were not extent of their reach. Soon Inverters for air force (F16 fighters), navy (submarines, frigates) and battery chargers for the army (communication) were realized. |

In the 80’s “Deltronic Kft” became a part of the Group. Originally the focus was on the development and production of Inverters and Converters in low-power ranges. Since the mid 90’s, the depth of production has been decreased and the focus has become product development en prototyping. Deltronic Kft has an excellent working relationship with the Technical University of Budapest. |
